Start your day with a scenic drive from the comfort of your private luxury car from your place of stay in the French Riviera to Saint Tropez and spend a delightful day in the famous authentic-chic village and its sun drenched sandy beaches. You will be driven along the Mediterranean coast to the middle of the Esterel National Park. Admire its red cliffs, jagged rocks, small coves, its wild forest and the calanques from the coastal road considered as one of the most scenic coast roads in France.
Then, explore the area through the Corniche road that runs between Cannes and St-Raphaël. On the way, you will be able to enjoy a stop at Fréjus to see its medieval vestiges. The calm and pretty medieval town centre of Fréjus is characterized by a pale orange color on the facades, and it was originally the bishop's palace. In fact, Fréjus was one of the first centres of Christinanity in France and so the Cathédral of Saint-Leonce is a highlight to visit. The building dates back to the 12 century and has a baptistry that dates back from the 5th century.
Later, if you desire, you can stop by Port Grimaud, a village based around water designed by François Spoerry, a famous 20th century architect, in 1966 in which the streets almost seem to emerge from the water. Because it is home to many canals, Port Grimaud is often referred to as “France's Little Venice” and we confirm that although much smaller in size, it is as romantic as the famous Italian city. In fact, the houses in Port Grimaud are built in a very simple style, with the height and color of the buildings being the main difference between them. The colors used for the houses are natural like clay, creams and dark pinks and some also have the iron balconies.
Lastly you will arrive at your final destination: Saint Tropez. Here, you will discover with your personal chauffeur guide the famous and lively once fishing-village which si today world famous for the glamour and beauty of the French Riviera. A sun drenched picturesque village with a charming historic heritage and splendid sandy beaches. St Tropez was first made famous by artists like Signac and Matisse, then a lot more when Brigitte Bardot filmed the iconic And God Created Woman (1956) then became known for cult films like Gendarmes (police).
End your tour enjoying lunch at one of the beaches and spend the afternoon chilling under the mediterranean sun. The easiest beaches to reach are the Bouillabaisse, the Graniers and the Salins. The trendier will opt for Pampelonne, usually private beaches.
