Starting at the historic Place des Vosges, originally Place Royale, it is the oldest planned square in Paris. Located in the Marais Quarter, you will walk along the rue des Rosiers, a major center of the Paris Jewish community where you can find public notices, specialised book-stores, numerous good restaurants and delis selling kosher food. Following its rehabilitation, the Marais has become a fashionable district, home to many trendy restaurants, fashion houses, and hip galleries.

Continue to Saint Germain Des Pres, the "intellectual" neighborhood of Paris. Long time the aristocratic district of Paris, then following the city's liberation, the district became popular for its nightlife and jazz clubs, with artists and intellectuals such as Sidney Bechet, Boris Vian, Juliette Gréco and Sartre adding their own dynamism.
After reaching the Quais de Seine, you will be able to see the famous Notre Dame Cathedral and Ile Saint Louis, before moving towards the Louvre's museum plaza, mounted by it's majestic glass pyramid and the refined Tuileries gardens. A bit further down the bank of the Seine is the Place Vendome, a mecca of money and luxury. The Place Vendôme provides a base for renowned and prestigious establishments: the Ritz hotel, Cartier, Rolex, Chanel jewelry, as well as the Ministry of Justice; and in its centre the celebrated Column of Vendôme sits enthroned.
Moreover, you will then get a glimpse from afar at the building of The Invalides, King Louis XIV ordered it in recognition of the sacrifices made by the soldiers who fought in his wars. It is also Napoleon's last resting place. You will finally reach the Eiffel Tower, where your tour will end, not before a short speech of your guide about the marvels of the Grande Dame de Paris, the main landmark of the city of lights.
