Embark on a culinary adventure with our Market Tour & Cooking Class in Paris, a unique experience that goes beyond the kitchen. Our first stop is one of the local markets, for example the historic Saint Germain one, a covered market in Paris with a rich legacy comparable to the iconic Les Halles market of the past. As you stroll through vibrant stalls, immerse yourself in the local atmosphere.
During the market tour, delve into the origins of the produce, explore the intricacies of Parisian food markets, and gain insights into buying etiquette and other cultural tips. No market visit is complete without a deep dive into the world of French cheeses, culminating in a tasting of some of the finest varieties.
Once we've absorbed the market's vibrant energy, we'll head back to the school for the hands-on cooking session. Over the next two to three hours, we'll explore the culinary arts, crafting an appetizer, main course, and dessert. The duration varies based on the day's menu, ensuring a dynamic and engaging cooking process. As you create your dishes, our Chef will guide you through the steps, creating a delightful learning experience. After the cooking session, indulge in the fruits of your labor—a scrumptious meal paired with carefully selected white and red wines, all enjoyed in the company of your Chef.
Our classes provide more than just a gastronomic journey; they offer a window into the heart of Parisian culture. Conducted in English, these intimate classes are set in a beautiful location, fostering a sense of camaraderie within small groups of no more than 12 participants. Join us for a moment of culinary exploration, skill-building, and cultural immersion, all rolled into one unforgettable experience.
