ITINERARY

Start your tour at Nice, the capital of the French Riviera. A picturesque city with a seaside scenery that inspired so many impressionist painters like Matisse and Chagall. Moreover, it was the British aristocrats in the 19th century who saw in the city a perfect place for a winter resort, giving their name to the most famous promenade in the world, Promenade des Anglais, running along the edge of the sea facing the Baie des Anges.  Nice has been  a cosmopolitan and prestigious city ever since ! With its festive old town, elegant Belle Époque bourgeois district and bustling working-class port area. For art lovers, there is the Chagall, Matisse and Mamac (Modern & Contemporary art) Museums.

Continue your itinerary to Eze, a breathtaking medieval village on a rocky peak setting overlooking the sea.  Its old village huddles around a substantial medieval fortress with a stunning panoramic view and exotic gardens. If you are interested, here you will have the chance to visit the Fragonard perfume factory one of the most famous perfume houses in France.

Continue to Monaco and Monte-Carlo and their sumptuous environment that make them worldwide legendary locations. Visit the famous Casino with an exquisite Belle Epoque decoration and a sublime setting with beautiful gardens and the prestige of the building itself. the Prince's Palace is definitely worth a visit as are the Formula 1 circuit and the Oceanographic Museum. For nature admirers, don't miss the Jardin Exotiquewith stunning plants and views.

Enjoy the seaside views from your car and reach Villefranche-sur-Mer an ancient fishing village that attracted glamor with time. A little corner in paradise combining modern and ancient, nestled high on the rock and descending straight into the Bay of Angels. Visit the passage under the buildings with a medieval atmosphere as well as its 16th century citadel.

If time allows, back to your place of stay, stop by Saint Jean Cap Ferrat and visit one of the most beautiful palaces on the Riviera, the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild. Built on the Cape peninsula in 1912 by Baroness Béatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild, this palace is inspired by the Italian Renaissance, adorned with superb gardens,  and housing many works of art.
